Does anyone know a place to train in or near Port Jervis, NY?
I have a friend who's going to work at a summer camp, and he needs a place to occasionally train on off-time. The google map link is here:
He's looking for BJJ, but sub-grappling at an MMA school will do. Throw out any and all suggestions, and we'll weed out from there! Thanks, ya fags!
With hate and vigor,

P.S. I posted a "where to train" thread in Grappling last time and it ended up getting moved here, so I'm just cutting to the chase.Originally Posted by Sarcastro

I hope they are. I got a friend around there that wants to start some MA but couldn't find anything nearby. I now have an invested interest in this thread.

I know some places to the east of Port Jervis.
BJJ BB Mike Wacker is in Wappingers Falls / East Fishkill -- maybe forty minutes to an hour. Great school. http://www.blackholebjj.com/ and Black Hole BJJ - No BS MMA and Martial Arts
Brian McLaughlin is in Lagrange. Good BJJ, MT and pro MMA. http://www.bjjfighter.com/ and Hudson Valley Jiu-Jitsu - preliminary - No BS MMA and Martial Arts
NYMAG / Gene Simco is in Newburgh under a couple names, I do not recommend. What a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable. -Xenophon's Socrates
