I agree, the kick you would use depends both on your opponent's stand and your position in relationship to them.

Did reconsider this - the distance is different high vs low, and presumably training makes anything better. We tend to train for shots above and below this particular target, rather than dead centre. Having said that, I suspect I will have a hard time finding partners for this training. Do you have an uppercut bag or something you hang at the right height or do you train with less force on a shield?

Yeah I'm not gung ho enough to train this live.

Large Frame Bajiquan has several groin punches/nut kicks in the routine. The idea is to know when to set up or recognize the entry to use it, not that it is some super-secret technique.

Anyone can slap someone in the face or clap them in the ear. But I don't think anyone here would argue that because of that, training for that doesn't matter. You can perform what you practice. The more you practice, the better you get. That shouldn't be news to anyone here.

I'm not arguing that is doesn't get easier the more you practice it, but does it really just end the fight because you can do it? I wouldn't count on it.

Is NY going to have another throwdown? We, and more specifically I, totally dropped the ball on the last one.

we can have one as soon as anyone wants to step up to organize, but now the question is where? unless fight house is back in business, it doesn't sound like the temporary location was very good, and we should find somewhere else (but that has always been a problem.)

Daniel received multiple ass kickings before the end. I was nine years old when I saw the original Karate Kid in theaters, that Halloween scene where they're all in skull makeup chasing Daniel out of the school dance and against the fence was pretty fucking frightening to me as a kid and was what motivated me to start learning martial arts. I began studying Shotokan karate at the YMCA that same summer.

I took my kids to see Toy Story 3 and I saw two six year olds punching the **** out of each other in line. From what I read from the OP, sounds about the same.
