Oh god another fucking thread with people who don't know the difference between being kicked in the nuts square n' solid vs. being nicked. This is becoming a Bullshido urban legend that as long as you have adrenaline/top position/something nutshots won't affect you until 30s after you're done kicking ass.

Nut shots are unpredictable because nuts are floppy and don't stay in one place and are hidden behind folds of cloth, but if you catch a full on solid shot you going down, period. Decent glancing shots will still hinder you while the fight continues.

MMA fighters with steel cups, super conditioning, and adrenaline up the wazoo fall on the floor after being kneed in the balls all the time and often are hampered by those shots longer than they are given time to recover for, but somehow average posters are tougher in a streetfight with no steel cups.

Nutshots are won't win fights consistently without knowing how to fight properly in general, but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater, it's an illegal target for a reason.

Nut shots, just because they ARE nut shots SHOULD be illegal for the damage they can do AFTER the fight is done, moreso than their ability to end a fight. If it was the ability to end a fight that made the shot illegal, then the chin would be off limits.

This reminds me of the time when I was talking this guy and he was telling me how Brazillian Jiu Jitsu Sucked. telling me why would I go to the ground with one person if im jumped and gangedup on by like 7 guys in the street.

Then I told him about having a better chance of escaping from the ground with BJJ/Judo and that you can do very swift trips and throws and keep your distance. But he was saying no one in the street goes to the ground and why would you grapple them bcuz they might have herpes or e.t.c.

He then told me Tae Kwan Do is one of the best Martial arts and its the airforces choice and he told me Tae Kwan do punches is just like Boxing punches and it has great ground work. He told me MMA wont work in the street and TKD is not made to work in a ring or cage "bs".

And I asked him if he has ever been in any confrontations in the street or fought any Grapperls he avoided the question but eventually said no...then he said TKD teaches nut kicks and Muay Thai doesnt...

Then he said grappling arts like BJJ wouldn't work because they have no striking and the striker would just keep his distance

he claims to have never fought a grappler, or have ever been confronted in the street yet still comes up with these results :O
