Nabard Log Training
A quick search only turned up threads questioning TAOS Nabard as an art.
This thread is meant to discuss Nabard Log Training and its application in martial arts. At a glance this training method looks similiar to kettlebell (and clubell) trainging although i've never used kettelbells it appears to have the same idea, of course one of the links below claims otherwise. Some of the material listed on the site is in tune with what i've read from Pavel somewhat discouraging workout machines and advocating more natural movements that use "the core" and stabilizer muscles.
Is what is offered in the links below anything new?
Does this training method offer any more benefits than a dumbell/barbells workout might offer?

a quick youtube search reveals more videos.
I figure this method might work for people who want something different or interesting in a workout. I know most of the TAOS Nabard guys i've met have at least appeared to be in shape, although i didn't ask if they did log training specifically.
Get yourself a couple of hot pink pleather purses and fill them with gravel. Just as effective, half as flamboyant.
Or grab some dumbbells and a medicine ball and become a better athlete.

It's joke enough without us adding to it. Joseph Bessimer was right.
