    rashad vs rampage

Does anyone think that Jackson can ever beat rashad? I know that Rashad is a very talented fighter, but I just hate how much trash he talks. So far he has backed it up though, for sure. TBH, not sure that Jackson does not fit in the same category! I guess what it comes down to is that I would like to see him smacked again like he was by Machida.:icon_scra

Jackson hadn't fought in 18 months....Rashad had fought 3 months prior. Jackson shed 45 lbs in 2 months for the fight. Rashad fought the perfect fight for rampage and rampage caught him and if he had any less ring rust he would have knocked evans out. If I were evans...I wouldn't fight rampage again...he's like a bigger stronger version of himself.

Overall thought..that fight sucked....way too much pawing and respect...

Rashad got caught. Everyone gets caught.

Rampage was out stratergized in their fight. Rashad used his given tools well enough to nulify most of Ramapage's skill set.

They both talk ****, thats what sells PPV's. Their both fan favourites for different reasons. I personaly am looking forward to a Shogun and Rasahd fight more so than a Machida and Jackson fight.

Hopefully Shogun recovers enough from his latest knee op to confidently defend his title.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Quinton Jackson is a home run stylistic match-up for Lyoto.

I guess he won't keep his title for long then, those constant knee problems will be a very heave strain.

true...wasn't meaning to say that rashad sucks or anything...he fought a masterful fight...I would love to see them go at it again. But frankly...I wanna see rashad vs. shogun first.

I'd bet he didn't actually injure it during the fight, Dana White is just pushing that line so the event insurance will take care of it.
