New England am MMA fighters needed!

WARRIOR CHALLENGE BLUE STATESN.Y./ N.E. REGIONALS

Needed New England fighters

from VT,Mass,NH,RI,Conn.

We are attempting our first national Amatuer tourney, kind of like the golden gloves of mma, The regional round will be in Burlington Vt on August 21rst, we use unified amateur MMA rules. The New York team is already set as our fight league had bouts this past Sun, the following are the weights!

Open Class (age 17-35) 3 X 4 min rounds
129 & >
139
149
159
169
179
185
195
205
Heavyweight

White collar (Age 33-45) 3 X 3 min rounds
Lightweight (165 & >)
Middleweight (166-195)
Heavyweight

All winners get Blue states regional Championship belt & chance to compete in PA for nationals,

This is a tournament, we just need some fighters to represent New England, as we have finished the New York end. Any other regions who may like to get involved we are trying to organize the amateur ranks of this sport!

The more diverse the geographical locals the better the nationals could be!

thanks, in all truth though if you have any promoters in the west who would be interested in setting up a similar scenario, we could do a east/west national,

I love Amatuer MMA, But it really needs to be more like amature boxing & less like professional wrestling! that is my aim in starting the warrior challenge, try to make like a golden gloves tourney out of it! to bring out the sports aspect in MMA

AM MMA is thriving out here, no silly rules/match types

We use unified rules, no knees to the head at all though.

As far as promoters go, the fella to contact about that would be Sven Bean.

We are running it like the NIT, we are requesting anyone to send thier resume we will then take the most qualified fighter into the tourney, the NY-VT_NH end is already done we need fighters at the following weights
