The TKD guy is coming off like a pompous ass, but the ATT guys look like idiots. It has nothing to do with PC and everything to do with conducting yourself like a place of business and not a high school locker room.
We've had our share of people who thought they were hot **** come into my gym, like everyone has.
-Fake-tan weightlifters with frosted tips who figured that benching a lot meant they could beat anyone
-Grossly out-of-shape kung fu guys who probably didn't even know how to spell "cardio"
-Wrestlers who thought they'd walk in and crush everyone because GSP does it
-A few "more hardcore than thou" morons who came in talking about their fight experience, which amounted to a few flailing slapfights in underground MMA orgs
They almost all left after one day because they couldn't finish our warmup wokout before the 12 year old kid who trains there. One or two had the presence of mind to realize how great they weren't and stayed on. Now, I can only assume that training at ATT is more intense than a lot of other places. If the guy really had no place there, they could have just put him through a normal class and rolled their eyes when he never came back after walking out the door making excuses. This just makes them look like a bunch of douchey frat boys.Last edited by Neo Sigma; 6/08/2010 5:04pm at .

I personally think both parties in the video looked stupid. The TKD guys kiaps were pretty funny and just how he talked, he seemed to be the "top" ****.
The MMA guys seemed to be like high school kids in a locker room.
I take it everyone there were adults and martial artists and should just be respectful and not d bags. -

I think I may be putting a little too much on it. Let's face it...most people don't have that experience walking into a dojo or mma training spot. I have never walked into pricks. I have walked into atleast 20-30 spots in the last 8 years and I just came off of the fattest I ever been and always got treated GREAT...even by Pros who I was working out with.
I'm talking about at the Combat Submission Spot 22 year old kids just like "try it like this" when you got a long way to go it means a lot....
since we don't know how it began and ended you can look at it for the pure comedic value..especially since we're in YMAS..but if we took it seriously...yeah..everyone looked kind of bad. But it's not like those guys were instructors I don't think.
