    Hell yeah! Hell no!
    LOL

Lets see we had the TKD guy in last week. Lasted 1 day.
Aikido guy didn't walk onthe mat.
Krav Maga guy lasted 2 classes.
MCMAP green belt lasted 1 month
Karate point fighter comes once every 2 months and claims to be an MMA fighter, even though he leaves class with my son still clinging to his back.
180+ lb Policeman left after 110lb son choked him mercilessly for 5 minutes
BB in street fighting 1 month and tons of laughs
Never Back Down kid lasted 3 rotations of a jump rope and left because it was to hard
This is about 1/2 of the nitwits we have gotten in the gym over the past 18 months or so.

I will say this though we have a collection of TKD BB in the gym that are really kicking ass. Most real MA take to MMA style training as long as they are still young. After 30 its just a novelty to many of them and something to try and see if they can do it. Plus to try and justify all those years of training as not a waste.
Judo is only gentle for the guy on top.

Wow, this is arrogant, they should give him a real chance. At the gym I trained and hopefully will train again they let every new student, no matter what background, simply train with the others and let him find out in sparring if his skills are useful.

    Like they did with you?
How's the ' intuitive training' coming along, poser?

So, do you want me to pose here? I guess not if you call me a poser. I'll make it short: The core thing is a certain kind of concentration/state of mind while I learn, practice and spar. I don't think it looks so different. We shouldn't take this thread off topic. If you are so interested in my first mma training or angry about my way of training pm me, but don't stalk me with your taunts.

wow...doesn't surprise me though..just is funny.....what do people expect coming in the door? Every mma or bjj gym I walked into they tell me straight up what is going to be required. Everyone has been friendly and interested in answering the questions. They never ask me if I have any prior MA training which I guess makes sense...

The guy walked into a pro mma and wanted to teach professional mma fighters how to fight! How big of an idiot can you be? I'm amazed they put up with that crap. If he just wanted to train he should have STFU and learn. At least he didn't end up like the guy in the Bobby Joe Blythe video.

I've walked into two different BJJ gyms, and two different Judo schools. I've been open and honest with the head instructor as to my background, both good and bad, and then I got on the mat and shut up.

I'm of the mind-set that I'm there to learn, everything else is just a waste of my, and my classmates, time.

I do not aspire to be great, or even good, I hope to suck a little less then last class.
