Yeah, I think he shouldn't have said anything about his experience to anyone but the head instructor IF ASKED and just started training. If his training was any good beforehand, they'd notice; if it wasn't any good beforehand, he'd notice--but he'd still get to save some face that way.

More power to this guy, though, and I hope he sticks it through and becomes some sort of asskicker eventually.

I might've chuckled hearing that "MEOWWW" kicking, though.

Theres a difference between coming into a new gym and wanting to train and learn, then coming into a new gym as a BB in this, BB in that, watch me unfold my mad grapplez.

I cant stand them. Show up, shut up and learn.

Well, yeah. Just feels a bit shady if they were the ones who asked to see his budos, then took the mick out of him, whilst encouraging him to do more...

me 3. others will laugh of you if you can't laugh of yourself. It would be total win if he said something like "OH I can't get up. tkd don't teach us that" while he was on the ground.

Man, all you guys who say this TKD-tard is the victim are totally wrong.

If that dude knew anything about MMA, he'd know that using TKD as your standup is an invitation for disaster. He looked fairly sweaty so he probably already had a workout of some kind. If it was the striking training at that gym, he wouldn't have looked like he had no clue what he was doing.

So it was probably some grappling, hence "Gotta work on my jiu-jitsu". That, to me, sounds like "I rolled with people who can actually wrestle and I got tapped every single time" with ego frosting all over it.

In conclusion: That guy is a tool. I hope he gets raped by a bear.

This guys deserves to be mocked because of the silly sounds he's making, not because he wants to train there.
