Guys, all respect, this is NOT about politics this time.

I will go over it again in a bit.

I just spoke with Paul Booe of the Hayastan organization. He told me that split happened right after the Serra/Parisyan fight which was on 06/04/05. When exactly was your source's visit to Hayastan?

    Good piece of intel, WW.
The timing of the split and the timing of the visit which involved the negative comments regarding Arce is quite close and might provide an answer.

Realistically, one would presume that most of the Parisyan camp would have been out in New Jersey for the fighting during the first three days of June so, again, presumably, the visit would have occurred after the match.

You do not need all three unless for some reason you want them.

Regarding Mr. Marr or Mr. Seck getting them for you by "just paying for them", to my knowledge you would have to test under the standards of the JF and JI for that to happen.

What they COULD do is send in your legitimate USJA rank to USA Judo and get a duplicate rank certificate. That would not be rank issued by USA Judo (or USJF if they will do such a thing), it will be a verification by the official US NGB for Judo that your rank is recognized by them. Unless you plan to do something that requires you to have NGB issued rank (USA Judo), like become an IJF level referee, it's not necessary.

Anybody in the USA at least will/should accept and recognize USJA issued rank.

    Ben,

Part of the Validation process for USJA includes taking EVERY test up to the level claimed. I am not saying that is always done, but I am saying that is the published policy.

FTR Karo was cornered by Randy couture for that match. I can not recall if T HUNTER said he was present with Karo for that fight. Gokor was with Booe doing seminars when Karo fought Serra.

Yes, I knew both those things. I just wanted to clarify the issue of getting rank from all three organizations. The base USJA rank validation would be the actual testing, USA Judo duplicate rank cert would require, in theory, no testing.

That's just for clarity for those here who do not know the system like you and I do.
