This is a sweet s-mount drill that I think everyone should check out.

Wow, this is awesome. I've been bad at this type of transition and have never got my transition to farside armbar as smooth as I would like. This drill is definitely going into my training arsenal!

I'd often want to drill out the armbar setups with class mates, but as stated in the vid, it does take time and starts cutting into the amount of reps you can knock out with it.

I think the main problem I'd had was not posting the hand to support and brace my weight/movement across my partner as I transitioned.
Daniel: I don't know if I know enough karate.

    Miyagi: Feeling correct.

Daniel: You sure know how to make a guy feel confident.

Miyagi: You trust the quality of what you know, not quantity.

Stephan Kesting's stuff is all gold. Thanks very much for posting. My s-mount needs tweaking.

Steven Kesting is a really good teacher. He explains things with great detail. Besides the fact that he looks like he's going through Chemo, I could watch his stuff all day.
    Thanks for the post

I'm going to bust this out at open mat! I'm always there but I'm literally never quick enough to actually get the armbar.
