I was afraid of tinkering with my guide rod. Maybe I shouldn't be?

    Anna,

Didn't I see you in a rifle ad in a gun mag recently? Think it was Kel-Tec?

Was it easy to install? From what I'm reading it sounds like they don't have any/don't need any windage adjustment. Is that true?

Very easy installation, seems to be pretty might right where it needs to be from the factory. Which makes sense considering the fact that it's right underneath the barrel. As long as your gun doesn't shoot slightly sidewise I think it's perfect without being manually adjustable for sighting.

What if I hold my gun sideways because I'm so gangsta?

No, you shouldn't be afraid of tinkering with your guide rod. Don't you take it out anyway when you clean your pistol? If not, why not? Do you not remove the barrel?

I don't clean my gun very well or very often. Though I also don't shoot as many rounds as some people on the internet seem to.

For some reason I thought you had to do more to the guide rod than you do I have since watched a youtube video of a guy installing one. I am not really concerned about installation anymore.

I am concerned with spending $300 on something I use so infrequently though which is why I'm still leaning toward the Uni Max one. I can get it for like $160 and it has a ton of positive reviews.

Or for $160 you could buy 500 rounds of 9mm and work on your (and her) shooting. :)
