    It's also great for gambling!

The danger of anything you teach the kids will probably be outweighed by the danger of the WWE moves they will emulate in the back garden.

You should have asked her if you could have met the MT guy in the car park and duked it out to decide who teaches the kids.

But seriously, you did the right thing. The guy could be a prick but could be an honest bloke so it's fair you gave him the benefit of the doubt.

My Kali Ilustrisimo Guro had a similar story about a mall demonstration a few years ago for kids featured eye gouges and throat cutting etc...he was asked not to demonstrate any more. 50 and 65 year old Filipino men not quite understanding the finer points of Canadian civility.

Good of you to be such a stand up guy. Though it makes sense, seeing as you do a striking system, amirite?

    ...I'm sorry, I truly am.

I start Monday. I was compensated by the indifferent universe for my lack of douchebaggery with the dangling carrot of more hours with nicer (due to weekend hours) pay teaching both Karate and English come Fall.

Foolishly I didn't even bother to mention during the interview, except in passing at the end, that I taught high school in NYC for 5 years. I decided to stop teaching school for multiple reasons and change paths adamantly awhile ago, but this is a different type of school (I just didn't want to bore y'all with the details before so I didn't go into it) for kids of Chinese immigrants. I worked in 2 joints like this before back in Queens, and it's not the same as regular teaching, so I don't mind; in fact I look forward to it.

My program (radiography) starts up again late summer and I'll have very little time to spare--the weekend hours will be perfect to keep me afloat during the Fall (knock on wood).

P.S. Changed my avatar for the occasion. :p

Depending on proper rules I might take a few pics and show some krotty madness.
