ok...here's what i do not understand: the video is about technique yet you dont use it in a fight.
the technique is martial arts related right?
    or isnt it?
if it is, why do you show it since its not used in a fight/competition?

I meant myself with the strange guy. Thanks for the advice, I only trained that way for a short time and I also don't punch walls and such. The knuckle of my middle finger protrudes on both hands so I can't hit with all 5 knuckles at once, but only the 2 inner ones or three outer ones.

Sorry if my wording confused you. The phrase "the last thing this video is about" is meant to convey that the following word is the least likely thing it is about.

Put a better way: There is no technique in the video. I know some guys who were punching hard things and I just wanted to show I could punch harder than them while still not injuring myself.

I succeeded in that but only that. I wasn't punching my hardest, just harder than them, I'm not using the best punches because I was just focused on hitting harder not cleaner or faster.

So, sorry about the confusion, but once again this video is not about technique and please do not emulate.

If anything this video is saying please don't dedicate hours of your life to Iron Fist training. Can we agree on that one?

My middle knuckle protrudes quite a bit too, it's just when you are punching a hard flat surface, your fist tends to conform if the surface doesn't bend or break. To much of this can lead to flattened knuckles.

I will have to concede. You have bested me with that quip. I'm straighter than Tom Selleck. Anyways, who am I to complain about whatever you do in your spare time?

Don't think the wife would approve.

I was aware of the throwdown but I'll be moving to Texas before August.

With that said, I'd love to attend one but I'm not about to start speculating about how I would do.
