    I've certainly heard of it, it's "cervical facet joint syndrome,"
    inflammation of the cervical facet joints, the little "tabs" by the transverse processes that slide together.
    Facet joints should be A&P 101, so to speak...

    Yep, that sounds a lot better. Dislocated facets in the C spine area or inflamation of the facets in the C spine area. But if it is dislocation, you better be talking to a neurologist at some point. In case you end up with some type of cord compression or nerve root imingement. Either way you will want it monitored.

    If it is just inflamation, not as big a deal. PT along with Chiro is a good early treatment.
