So its deadly against other styles in their competitions when they break the rules, BUT when da __un had a chance to show how deadly it was in a tournament with virtually no rules (ie the early UFCs where groin kicking was allowed!) it got demolished.

And for the love of God/Buddha/Allah/Spaghetti Monster do not bring Sean Obasi. He got his ass whooped back to back (one in just over 30 seconds) and he didn't start winning until he started.........BJJ!!!!

That's exactly what I was saying. If you can supposedly counter with a kick to the groin, why can't you just check the kick or aim your kick a few inches higher? Why is there this thought that other kicking styles CAN'T deliver a blow to the jewels if they desired to aim for this part of the body?

The thing that pissed me off about that ball kicking sifu is that there are actually tournaments with the groin as a legal target, yet he fights in ones where it's not legal and still does it. He should get into one of the kyokushin offshoots with groin kicks.
