Cane masters? Does it work as well as they say?
I am looking for a proven cane fighting system. Most proven systems appear to require an agile in shape guy. I want something that an elderly, half cripple, person could use. I want it incase I am ever injured, because I can take a Cane internationally where every I want, and I can use it later in life to teach to seniors and such.
I'm having a hard time imagining an "elderly, half cripple" person beating down street thugs with a cane.
"GET OFF MY LAWN!!"
If you're looking for a cane system that works for the infirm I'd suggest this:
I wouldn't recommend the CaneMasters programs for anything other than recreational training.
I don't really like their instructional stuff, but I do approve of the canes they make.
Well I've 2 of 'em and am going to seminar on Sunday to help celebrate the life of senior Trad JJ who had his funeral on Wednesday in Harlow.
I post an opinion after I've done it.
Trolling twice in one day from the same account about two different subjects is pretty cool, man.

No idea about Cane Masters. I occasionally train with a cane and do a few cane forms, but can't really vouch for it. Logic and common sense agree, if you're old enough to require a cane (and aren't just wobbling on an injured leg,) you just aren't strong enough to defend yourself from the likes of Choson Ninja who's probably looking for more crack money, and doesn't feel like giving any more hand jobs behind the internet cafe.
I think Bartitsu is big on cane use. If they train in a live manner, go with that.
Kama Sutra blue belt.
