The worst is when you tell them what style you do yet they still call it "Karate".

I still think it's worse when they call it "Kung Fu" or call you a ninja.

Taekwonversation, hahaha very nice. I think we have a new word here.

    Taekwonversation- [tahy kwon ver-sey-shuhn]t’aekwŏnversātiōn
    -noun
    1. A boring diatribe loosely related to Taekowondo.
    2. Any inane discussion pertaining to the martial art Taekwondo.
    3. A situation in which an uncaring speaker continues to droll on about the topic of Taekwondo despite the pleading of uninterested listeners.

Good story, but it needed more cowbell.

Also, I would have changed the ending of the story so that Alucard619 shouts to the guy "What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets! But enough talk... have at you!" And then they point-spar each other.

So this thread is for lame stories where nothing cool happens? Okay.

Today I was skateboarding by the beach, and I stopped at a drinking fountain for some water. A homeless guy wanders up to me and tells me to give him a dollar. I tell him I don't have any money because I'm just out skateboarding. "Then you're gonna give me your skateboard" He says. "No I'm not" I respond. He steps forward and slaps me on the arm, and says "ha, you're alright!" and wanders off.

At Central station every morning there was always a group of Aboriginals making it difficult not to stereotype, drinking, smoking and generally just lazing around. They would approach everyone with, "gottadollabro" and if someone was smoking, "gottasmokbro". I would always walk past and as they approached me I'd say quick as a flash, "hey bro, have you gotta smoke, it's pay day tomorrow and I'm broke". Without fail they'd approach someone else, ask them "got-twosmoke?" and hand one to me. Saved me a reasonable fortune in dollars and made a small one in smokes.

This is the pointless story thread, right?

    About TKD, huh?

    All the Aboriginals wore doboks.
