Yeah, Kos is still a douchebag, but not a liar this time around. Looks like we owe him an apology...

I only wish the second knee would have landed too.

Yeesh, that's a little harsh. I happen to think Kos is a piece of crap but wishing two illegal (and deliberate) knee strikes upon him is bad for the sport of MMA overall.

For the record I'd rather he died in a fiery diaper avalanche OUT of competition.

Will Daley now be flying solo as Douche of the Month ?

I have nothing against the dude getting kneed except for the fact that he's in a sport where you're not allowed to knee someone that's shooting in on you if they have one knee on the ground.

Well, call him what you like but I stood by my remarks after the fight that I wanted to see some different angles before judging that one. Turns out, everyone was right and wrong. The SECOND knee probably didn't hit, it was the FIRST one that almost everyone missed that landed. If you watch the GIF linked in the article carefully, you can see it land.

I linked this article to MMAJunkie considering how high traffic their site is. This is one of those things that requires additional attention, in my opinion, considering one of the explanations Daley gave for the sucker punch was his frustrations at the "phantom knee":

The knee didn't land. Joe Rogan posted a video from a better angle and there was no contact. People are just saying it landed because a couple of the bigger MMA blogs ran the story that it did.

Here's another article with another angle...looks like he may have smacked himself with the knee. This is just one crazy mess.

Please explain where the right knee lands I may be missing it with my blind ass. I see him hop back with both feet and see no right knee thrown,.
