    Footage of a demo of gladiatorial combat from the recent HEMA conference in Dijon, France. ACTA is the group of professional HEMA interpreters who demoed ancient Greco-Roman boxing at the conference last year.

    Gonna have to agree here. I know it has a generally bad vibe to it,but if you're going to LARP??? then the example these guys set is what you should be aiming to emulate.

    Re. LARPing in this context, it's worth pointing out that ACTA is a professional team of "historical interpreters" who perform historical martial arts displays for museums, etc.

    I'd call it LARPing as well but not in a negative sense at all, this is how it should be done. It's very entertaining.

    I like the cheeky low kicks/superman punches (well stabs I guess) thrown in.
