    I got a better rope and pulley so that I can pull the heavy bag up and out of the way when I'm not using it.

    I'd have to put the pulley on the corner of the porch opposite the backdoor for optimal effect, I would think. Maybe a remote activate belaying device tied to the burglar alarm system that would fully release if the alarm on the backdoor were tripped.

    Good work and nice set up, I just finished my basement into a full gym it makes it easy to get that extra workout in when you cant make it to the training center. The hours I work I had to set something up too.

    It the stored position that looks like such an obvious trap I'm surprised your neighbors haven't called the police.
