ok a couple of things i noticed.
the person in question is a german, and the countries he teaches/taught at are except perhaps for yemen all known for their sextourism.
i dont want to be a dick but that stands out for me.
second: judo and early jjj found its way in europe through holland, then france and england.
germany was a relative latecomer to the game.
sure therewere some schools that said they taught jjj and or judo but it was all fantasy crap frm people who spend time in the far east and started teaching what they learned over there.
the serious judo training pretty much started late 20ies and 30ies.
several japanese guys travelled throughout europe to promote it and Germany was not a significant judo/jjj country back then. -

11th dan in Pe-Do? LOL.
The point is though, that Mr Schuhmacher [not "Schumacher"] is already known to be a fraud:

- A German thread from 2007.
If you look at his associates, from this *hall of fame* that curiously lists peopel multiple times for the different styles they are teaching, it's like a who-is-who of cheap mcdojos.

My guess is that all those titles are given out in between themselves, as per the spiral-staircase-model, and as such, basically worthless.
Sure, noone implied otherwise. The first school was opened by a Japanese in Berlin around I think 1923 or 1924, and things evolved from then. Erich Rahn and Heinz Guenther, however, ARE the first pioneers of the sport. - In that context, I would be interested in hearing how Mr Schuhmacher got his ranks from Guenther, who died by the end of the 70s, if I am not mistaken. -

Hi associatesare worth a look, too:

As to Mr Philipp S. Porter, look what the wiki gives us:- O’Sensei Philip S. Porter ~ Highest ranking Judo Grand Master in the world, 10th Dan and father of modern Judo in the U.S.A., Author of the international Judo requirements for competition and testing.
- Dr. D. P. Hutton ~ One of the world's best knife fighting experts !
- Prof. Amin Sami Hassan ~ Founder of Goju-Taichi-Qi-Gong
- Sigung Tim Wolfe ~ One of the fastest Close quarter combat fighters and Grand Master of the Black Panther Gung-Fu !
- Grandmaster Peter Chong ~ Direct student of Mas Oyama !
- Grandmaster Kenneth Lewis ~ Father of Kung-Fu of the Bahamas !
- Prof. C. J. Krieger ~ One of the world's best Aiki-Jutsu experts !
- Dr. Germon M. Smith ~ Grand Master of African Martial Arts!
See a certain behavioral pattern? In 1995, Porter founded the United States Martial Arts Association (USMA) and has remained President since then.
Budo Taijutsu - 10th dan, Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi. 1998.
Judo - 10th dan, from USMA. 2004. (Porter founded the USMA)
Jujutsu - 10th dan, from USMA and Beikoku Mizu Ryu JuJutsu. 1997.
Jun Kin Shin - 10th dan (soke). (Porter founded Jun Kin Shin)
Taiho Jitsu - 10th dan, from Mid-Atlantic Self Defense Association. 1997
Karate - 8th dan (honorary), from American Shotokan Karate Alliance. 1996.
BTW, falsely claiming a professor and a doctor title, as which Mr Schuhmacher is portrayed, is punishable by German law. - O’Sensei Philip S. Porter ~ Highest ranking Judo Grand Master in the world, 10th Dan and father of modern Judo in the U.S.A., Author of the international Judo requirements for competition and testing.

I googled and browsed. It's just a one page site with very poorly optimised GIFs, vomit green background and scrolling text, kinda like 80% of the shitty Compuserve homepages people used to have 12 years ago.
Aesthetics aside it offers a knife fighting seminar by a Professor D. P. Hutton PH D.M.A. No info on what he claims to be a professor of.

Style: Savate (LBF/SD/LC) - BJJ--
Maybe a small naming standard would be good:
In Germany:
Deutsche Ju Jutsu (a specific style of Gendai Karate-Judo hybrid) uses the Ju Jutsu spelling.
All other Gendai Karate-Judo hybrid styles use Jiu Jitsu
In the rest of the world:
Ju Jutsu is for the Gendai Karate-Judo hybrids and the Koryo ryu(s)
Jiu Jitsu has been connected mostly to BJJ/GJJ/MJJ.
Since this is an American website, it would be better to name the Karate-Judo styles 'Ju Jutsu', even if they are named 'Jiu Jitsu' in the German texts. Or we will get a confusion between claims of JJJ and BJJ if this thread grows to sacnificant proportions.
