It's like a creepy jail scene... and I have a hard time believing him at about 1:24. Look in those eyes.... those eyes.... the nightmare isn't over.

So wait a second here....
If you have a stick and you get pulled to the ground, and you have the stick, and are in either side control or mount. You throw away your stick and just bite!!???!!! Fucking crazy ****.
Don't GNP or hit a guy with a stick, just bite em. Don't bother with BJJ subs or sweeps, just bite em.
Un fucking believable...
To think that I used to quote this guy when it came to knife fighting

Dear DA108
I have thought about it. And this is what I came up with.
The use of a bite tends to be a very devastating/damaging attack, but is not likely to finish a fight. Whereas a knock out via choke, punch or weapon would end the fight.
In other bite techniques that he was showing, the purpose of the bite was to create opening when there were none ie RNC (in another video not posted here) or a head lock (in a video posted here). I'm totally ok with that.
However when you have the top position in either mount, or side control. IMHO It would make sense to either
1) strike and run away (makes the most sense for RBSD especially with multiple attackers etc etc)
2) strike and finish
or 3) submission
I feel that diving in for a bite like he is will
a) leave you open to a bite yourself
b) prolong the fight which goes against any RBSD teaching
c) leave you open to multiple attackers
d) allows you to be open to a sweep (like shown in the vid)
He shows a bite from guard which in of itself is fine. However, in the context of the full sequence, (bite from mount, get swept, bite from guard). If he just hit and run he wouldn't have to be worried about being swept, or multiple attackers.
If you have a different opinion, or if you feel that I have missed something. Please feel free to fill me in.
With all Sincerity
SNG
