    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Holy crap I actually threw someone during Randori

Tonight, for the first time I actually threw someone in Randori. Granted, it was an ugly approximation of an Uchi Mata, but it worked. I was so stunned that I asked the other guy if he let me do it, he assured me that he didn't. I've had a grin on my face ever since. Just thought I'd share.

awesome! it's always a good feeling to hit that perfect (or decent) throw.

don't worry too much about what throw it sort of is or sort of isn't. practice in uchikomi, and it'll come out in randori.

    Snap.
Just last week my throws started to improve like I suddenly got it.
My problem is that Everyone at my club are Brown Belts are above so throwing someone in Randori is gonna be tough for me. Still at least I know it will be well deserved when it finally happens.

    BTW, my blog site below

Bigstu, 90 percent of people at my club are black belt and above, so I know where you are coming from.

Congrats OP, you are a man now. Hitting a perfect throw feels great. I guess that is why Judo is so addicting. When you throw somebody once, you always want to feel that again.

I had the most awesome throw ever last night. I harai goshid a 100 kg spaz without using an ounce of my strength. The guy just flew over me crashing onto the mats. Hah, just thinking about it made my day.
