Who is Shihan Joseph Torres

Who is this guy? Where did he get his training from?

Ok I'm one of his former students and I had been with him for years and finally got sick of his bull ****. In my time with him he has been real cloack and dagger with who his training was with in reference to his aiki jujitsu system that he teachs. I know he studied under mosses powell and then there a japanese jujitsu master that he learned from that dissappeared off the face of the earth.

Also I have heard and had my own suspissions of him liking the young boys. If anyone else knows anything let me know

If you have PROOF of your allegations provide it now.

Please present a clear case as to why he is bullshido.

Edit this part out since you are going by hearsay. If it was you would you be willing to swear out an affidavit attesting to these allegations?

I don't have documentation of pedophilia. Its just the things I have seen. He is a man that only hangs out with young boys ages 13-17. I use to work in a public place of interest and he would always come there with these boys. Second I'm not the only one who has these suspicions. Also I had a friend that wanted to join the class he was gun ho to do it he came with me to the class then he Torres volunteered to drive him home. The next day when I spoke to my friend he no longer wanted to join. I later found out from his girl friend at the time the reason he didn't want to anymore is because Torres touched him and tried to make sexual advances on him. Now that case could not be used because my friend at the time was 19.

So?

Answer Tom's question. The Jules thread had proof. Things were researched, confirmed, and investigated before they were laid out on the thread.

The only thing you have done is say you are a disgruntled student.

Actually it is very easy. Have your friend swear out an affidavit. Then you will have proof instead of second hand stories.

He is an adult at 19 so, your story really has no merit.

Funny how a man hitting on a 19 year old is strange (an example not saying you are right).

Flip the gender and everyone thinks he is a hero.

Listen I'm not making any allegations and spreading any innuendo. You asked me for proof that I have and I gave it to you. The funny thing with pedophiles is unfortunately they don't 1 go around advertising it or have documentation of there actions when no one has ever made any reports. And the victims of such abuse often times don't say anything because of shame they feel. This is the only place in the martial arts world that his name has been mentioned and my "allegations" have been also mention of a previous post. My post was to merely ask if there are others out there that know him and have had the same inkling I have had.

As for my inkling have you ever been in a situation where you know something wrong is happening but not in front of you eyes. More then often my instincts are right. Tom you have kids if something this was happening to them and you didn't know and they didn't tell you wouldn't you want someone to say something even if they had just a feeling about it. The purpose of me trying to find things out is to in hopes that if it is true to stop it from happening and ever happening again. No child deserves to be taken advantage of I'm just here as a sense of responsibility to protect young kids who put there trust in him. If that gets me banned from this forum then so be it go ahead but its not going to stop me.
