Kajukenbo used to be good unfortunately, I've found, it took a great idea and then blew it.

When I first heard the name I wondered if it was a martial art from Africa but I then went on to discover it was Hawaiian.

God forbid someone not be nice.

While there is always the possibility that there is some actual medical condition (doubtful) the fact remains that there are too many fatass martial art instructors.

Crap, I keep ending up on KFss side.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe there are reasons to being out of shape? From the looks of it, no you never think. There maybe unknown reasons as to why this instructor is in the shape that he/she is. What about health or metabolism? Did you ever think that this maybe a reason for the way the instructor looks/moves? I guess not. I am not going to guess as to why he/she is the way he/she is. That is for him/her to divulge. Give the person the benefit of the doubt...you don't know and I don't know the reasons. So, train where you want, but quit degrading other people. It's not NICE!! [/

Sorry Martialgeek, John Perkins of Attackproof has already used up the quota for the metabolism excuse on this forum. :)

Actually, I had that idea given the boasting and the self-aggrandizement instructor was regaling me with; how many black belt students he's created and that he's been on the cover of black belt magazine multiple times.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe there are reasons to being out of shape?
Nope, to me, a fat slob is just a fat slob. Why should I care for his excuses.

Too many twinkies, big macs, and plate lunches are not a secret. Eat too much and sitting on your ass all day makes you fat.

The instructor is an ancillary matter. The system itself is a joke, whenever you waste time with kata's, you're only learning how to dance and look good. That never impresses me -> http://hawaiiankajukenbo.com/Video/Lo-Han.mpg

I heard this Kajukenbo is Hawaiian and it is because I looked it up on the internet and it's a Mix between arts and it's cool.
