I know, but it blew my mind at the time because it was the first time an MMA format match was fought/"fought" on free TV. Remember, this was at the beginning of the era where you couldn't even pay to watch MMA in many media markets.

Edit: They basically just traded some strikes and leg submissions. It had a predetermined ending, where White hit Ken with a cheap shot and Ken finished him off with fake ground and pound. Afterwards, Big Van Vader came out to challenge Ken.
Like the Brawl for All, the fans weren't too excited. But there were some clips of the UFC and the WWF even advertised UFC 13. I remember the WWF did this several times whenever Ken or Dan Severn had a match. When Ken and Dan had a rivalry in the WWF, they even played some clips from their UFC 9 fight and made it out to be a bloodbath (Epic lol).Last edited by Holy Moment; 4/30/2010 11:04pm at .
