thats easy: den haag literally means the hague, in this context the hague means sorta dominion, lands.
so 'sGraven hage is short for des graven hage, which means the hague (lands/dominion) of the Duke.
it used the be the main city of the Dukes of Holland province.
Holland is the only imprtant province f the netherlands, the other ones are just filled with inbreed peasants who get to join in for free.

Yeah, I suppose given y'all's history that wearing the Union Jack wouldn't be nearly as offensive on Queensday as the Spanish royal flag or the Nazi flag.

Spanish flag isnt a problem neither, i mean we've been at was with everyone over the centuries, including the french and the english, germans are a bit sensitive to some older people.
a swastika of any kind would get you into trouble as its forbidden by law to wear the symbol.
