Would you kindly mind being more specific about the way my statement is incorrect?

I can concede that the current militant movement that is extant in Timor Leste has an involvement of Islamic extremists. However, it is internationally recognised (including by the UN) as an independant country. Perhaps you are thinking of West Timor, which sadly remains under Indonesian sovreignty.
