    *Spoilers* 8 Man No-Gi Superfights, Houston 4-23

As I stated in the Brandon Quick: Fake Brownbelt thread, I've only recently caught up with the goings on of the past year or so. So I got interested in that story, which lead to me finding out about this middleweight tourney the night before Rupture's Houston JJ Championships. Being a tournament lover/degenerate gambler/fight fan, I feel mortally compelled to to learn everything I can about these guys and handicap the event. I'm only a couple or few hours from Houston, hopefully I can make it down.

I've spent way too much time over the past couple of days searching and watching videos of these guys, particularly since I have actual **** I need to be doing. Basically what I'd like is for any of you more in the know than my limited knowledge of Texas Jiu jitsu to help me fill in the blanks and give your thoughts/picks/insight as well.

First I'll give my rough first round odds, then the bio information it's based on. Of course, the odds reflect the video I watched as well. To be clear, I'm not acting like I'm an authority on this ****, I just want to learn more about the contestants. It looks like it'll be a great event.

Murphy over Quick via unclear submission with Quick in side control. Would like clarification on this one.
