Good luck. Cancer sucks ass -- I did a year of chemo + surgery. I now have some interesting scars, a limp and set off metal detectors. But all's well.

Thyroid cancer is very curable, usually. Go kick its ass. It is, after all, HTFU month.

Edit: - Thanks Alucard. I'm sure I'll be just fine. Prognosis good and all that.
    - I don't want to derail with the pity/cancer victim stuff, just saying prepare for me to move up the badass ranks a notch.

You both got my vote already. Unless it's one man, one vote. Then you'll have to fight over it.

I was driving home from a 13h nightshift, rather tired and slightly cranky. I stop at a gas-station next to the highway for a refill. Pumping gas in my car, I see an old man, carrying a gas canister walking to the station. I immediately thought that his car had ran out of gas, and I was correct.

As I finished my refueling, I turned to the man and asked if he needed a lift back to his car. He was thankfull but replied that his car was just about 500 meters down the road and he was perfectly capable of walking his way back. So in the end I didn't really get to help him but I felt good nevertheless.

A few weeks ago I pulled up to a gas station and was approached by a guy holding a gas can. He said he needed two bucks to fill his can and I happened to have 2 bucks on me so I gave it to him. Then I ran in and got my vitamin water. As I was getting back in my car to leave the same guy came up to me and said he needed two bucks for gas. I was like I already gave you two bucks for gas... Made me wish I hadn't.

As Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said at the start of the on-going series with Denver when talking about how George Karl can't be there to coach because he's dealing with cancer treatments, "Makes you realize that basketball isn't very important."

At that point you pour gas all over him and chase him away flicking a bic.

Went to the movies with a friend over the weekend. Idiot tried picking a fight (apparently asking him not to kick my chair is taboo). I walked away.

    Yes I am that cool.

I nailed my sensei once with a drop knee seio nage. He is 5'4" on a good day, and I am 6'3". That was the last time I ever got a throw in on him!
