AM I BEING LOUD ENOUGH FOR YOU NOW MIYAGI!!! I am starting to think that maybe there are a lot of Aussies on here who don't actually grapple. What is the skill level of this event, Miyagi? I am starting to think that I should enter some comps in a few months and get served as no gi fodder to some blue belt behemoth due to the fact I'm a fat gi training novice.
Might be an idea to PM jnp first before putting it anywhere else, he might not remove your testicles before he boxxes them if it isn't up to standard. -

Ok well experience and weight category info now follows, PEW PEW:
As always, we have two competitions running on the same day—BJJ and No-Gi grappling—with separate weight classes and experience levels for both. There are divisions for both men and women, and this year we are also adding children's BJJ divisions from age 5 and up.
Weight Divisions for Adult BJJ & No-Gi:
Under 66kg
67kg - 76kg
77kg - 87kg
88kg - 98kg
99kg & Over
Weight Divisions for Kids BJJ:
5-6 years => Under 20kg; 20kg & Over
7-8 years => Under 25kg; 25kg & Over
9-10 years => Under 30kg; 30kg & Over
11-12 years => Under 35kg; 35kg & Over
13-14 years => Under 45kg; 45kg & Over
15-16 years => Under 55kg; 55kg & Over
Weight Allowances:
Adults BJJ - 3kg
Adults No-Gi - 1kg
Kids BJJ - 2kg
Spectators are welcome, and competitors at all levels of experience are invited to compete. Adult BJJ will be separated by rank, and No-Gi will be separated by Novice (0-2 years) and Intermediate/Advanced levels. We will have multiple mats running at once so that the competition will run smoothly, and we anticipate a fun and enjoyable day for all. -
