news flash: DTT's a jerk?

I considered trollshidoing this thread myself because it contributes little to MA discussion, but on second thought perhaps this thread can contribute something to the issue of sportsmanship and the infamous but elusive honor in martial arts.

First the backstory: for those those who don't know what the title of this thread addresses it is directed at an advertisement scrolling across the top of the screen today. Usually the advertisements are for some MA gimmicky bs or occasionally something cool (rupture gear). What i'm adressing is an ad stating "News Flash:Sirc Sucks!!!" that shows bullshido member DTT laying a "sweet" WC punch on Sirc from a recent gong sau.

The issue (sportsmanship/honor): Is DTT a dick for most likely paying to advertise his victory over Sirc? DTT is a WCer with several years of experience who defeated a younger, smaller, and less experienced martial artist. Originally I thought it was commendable that DTT "proved himself" and defeated Sirc after much online trash talk. Both men did the honorable thing and fought. It's my opinion that by paying to advertise his victory DTT looses any cool points he may have gotten for whooping up on Sirc. What does everyone else think? Do I have too much time on my hands for even thinking this much into it?

All's fair in love and war. DTT copped a lot of flack and was trashed on multiple sites before the fight. Sirc or one of his team could pay for an ad too if they actually cared about it. Seems that both the combatants have moved on to other topics, as they should.

I think the ad is funny.

Well, I did consider the fact that someone (admins) other than DTT could be fucking with Sirc. Of course I figured that someone would have had to pay to post that.

Agreed, but if DTT did post that than I wouldn't say he's moved on. Of course, Sirc's moved on I doubt he'd want to dwell on that loss.
