LOL my sentiments exactly when he did that massive tekken style forward lunge in the third round

Nick Ring is hilarious. Officially rooting for him.

After watching the fight again, I don't see how anyone could really argue for Hammortree winning. He threw maybe five standing strikes over all three rounds, and they all missed. He did no damage on the ground. He generally got reversed when he tried to advance position, when he wasn't busy stalling, anyway, and gave up his back three or four times. Tavares didn't really do very much himself, but he landed a bunch more strikes on the ground, the ones he threw standing at least made contact, and he reversed Hammortree a few times.

On a side note, Hammortree needs a few lessons in listening to his corner.

Tito: Okay, now step to the right!

    Agreed haha.

Was anyone else frustrated that Hammertree seemed to forget he could throw strikes when against the cage? I saw a few opportunities to throw a few decent knees that would have possibly shifted the judges decisions.

Yeah fight was very bad for both fighters I thought. Hammortree lost though.

I thought it kind of sucked that Tito yelled for everyone to shutup so Hammortree could hear his coaching and 10 seconds later they are shouting again and again. I'm more interested in hearing what the coaches say during the fight than a bunch of random, incoherent shouting.

I know it can't be helped at events but I figured the fighters would understand and could shut up for 10-15 minutes.

He was listening to his coach he just had his directions backwards while focusing on the fight.

After TUF 10, this is freaking epic. Ok, epic is a bit much but it's still a lot better than last season.

I was actually mad I missed the episodes when they were on TV. I gave up on TUF 10 after like three episodes. This one I'm excited for still. Let's see Ring VS Noke for the finale!

After that one succesful hip throw Brad thought it would work everytime so kept going for it and after four failed attempts in a row ending up with his back taken or in mount you would think he would stop. Hammortree was going for a uchi mata type throw and i was just waiting for one of them to just get double unders and go for a greco slam.

I was sure brad had that choke it was right under the chin very close but we never see fights ending in the first round or even finishing much in ultimate fighter probably because they are all being so careful but i was sure he had it but when he tried to secure it i thought too late now he can just push out

If you like grappling you would probably like that match it wasn't bad for a low strike match, whenever hammor went to side control or generally got on top there was a reversal after not long ontop.

Funnily enough i wouldn't take chuck as the tactician and dana thought he was nuts on his picks but hes going for a whitewash so far 2-0 we'll see what happens but he could go all the way 5-0 but this fight was very close so we'll see.

Plus next time we get to see Tito go hulk smash... again. He's going for rampage's lash out and break a door record.
