Whoa, there's a left in America? Since when?!

That was funny, and it's nice to see a side of BJ other than the whiny one or the "I'm going to kill him in the cage, it's a fight to the death" one.

I don't consider her/them to be left, more center right and only left of the batshit crazy right (i.e. Glenn Beck). We need a real left/3rd party in this country actually, and in a bad way.

CNN gets my respect (for about a day, then they'll lose it again) by doing away with demagogues. CNN has been **** journalism for as long as I can remember, but it's still lightyears beyond Fox & co. The new age of political pundits is harmful (and disgusting). It was bad enough when Americans just didn't read and were under-informed about the issues, but now they're actively misinformed, told how to think, and riled up in the same breath by nifty little entertainment news packages.

The democrats would be fools to not install their own pundits and cash in, but this is going to have very nasty & long-reaching effects on how politics are conducted imo!

She's a talk show host with extreme left views. Really smart (Harvard?) but left-leaning as hell. Surprise she's a lesbian.

I haven't personally verified her anatomy, and I can't find any googlepics either.

I chose that um...abiguous pic intentionally. Sometimes she looks like that kid from Wonder Years:

Dont know if any of you Americans are familiar with Charlie Brooker and his show screenwipe. This is his take on Fox and the American News networks. Pretty funny!

Small problem. Americans won't elect leftists who are honest about their lefitsm -- outside of a few urban enclaves (e.g. Nancy's Pelosi's SF district). There are ton of fringe left parties but they can't do jack.

Outright leftists get crushed in general elections in competitive districts. American is a center-right country. Unless you're suggesting the traditional leftist way of getting results -- violence. But that has invariably ended in disaster.

Incidentally, Republicans tend to better informed about events than Democrats and independents.
