What I get tired of is people assuming that everything I do, that might be considered "manly", or even competent, is because I am short. I lift weights because I'm short, never mind that I work out with guys nearly 7 feet tall, I work out because I'm 5'7.5" and need the boost. I used to drive a truck, and I only did that because I'm short, never mind that tall people, and even shorter people drive them too. I guess I get out of bed and take a piss because I'm short too, right?
You get used to it after a while and you'll just do whatever it is that interests you, and you won't give much of a damn what some chicky in a skirt innocently says. ( to some extent )
I'm about the same height, I don't usually get that sort of stuff. I sort of had a rep for being a tough guy in school though despite not really doing anything to earn it, except lifting for a while then. Being thick can be just as important as tall though I find for intimidation purposes.

It really can be done, so i guess some things in ma-movies arent as fantastic.
i had the same trhing at highschool but instead of tough they considered me smelly and creepy.
