Ok I am planning to first try calling and speaking to Cory on the phone. If that doesn't work I will take a ride down there and talk to him in person. I plan to call him tomarrow but first I need to figure out a list of questions to ask. His resume is pretty substantial so if possible I'd like to weedle the list down a bit. I have some idea of what to ask, his Black Belt in BJJ seemed to be a particular point of contention so I will be sure to ask about that and his other belt rankings. Specificly who he got them from, when he got them and how long he has trained in those arts. Maybe we can break this down into a primary and secondary list of questions. His involvement with Kidsafe 911 and homeland security seems to be a sticky point as well that I figure I should have on the primary list. What else do you guys (and girls) want me to ask him about?

That all sounds good. Ask further about what type of training he did for the schools that have no record of him being there. Try to get names and dates if you can.

If he claims a BJJ black belt, get him to stipulate that it's Brazilian jiu-jitsu, not Bissett ju-jitsu or Brinn ju-jutsu or Brock-do or whatever.

If he insists it's the Brazilian type, ask him who awarded him his belt and when. Write down those answers very carefully.

If he disclaims such a belt, ask him why his school webpage claims he does.

If possible, please record this conversation.

Well this is sure going to be interesting. I will be sure to ask about the school stuff. I wish I could record the conversation but I have no way of doing that. I am terribly untech savy. Looks like I am going to more or less just have to go down the list with him on his resume and see how far we go before he gets tired of talking.

Sounds good. Post what you learn, then I say we invite him to the thread. This way, he has the opportunity to verify what you post.

Can you please also ask him about his training of goverment agents?

Could you find out what departments, when, where, and who hired/supervised him?

I am quite curious on his LE claims.

Ok here is the list I have compiled how's it look guys?

    At a Federal Level
What type of training have you provided to Federal law enforcement agencies? What agencies have you worked with and when?

    At a Military Level
What type of training have you provided to American military personnel? Where did you provide it and when?

    At a college Level
What training have you provided for Campus security at UCI, FSU and Colorado School of Mines? When did you provide this training?

    To women and children
What was or is your involvement with the Association for Battered Women?
What was or is your involvement with the Big Brothers program?
What was or is your involvement with Children of the Court?
What was or is your involvement with the National Association for Missing Children?

    How long have you trained in, what rank do you hold and who awarded you that rank in;
    Tang Soo Do
    Hwa Rang Do
    Northern Shaolin Kung Fu
    Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu
    Kung Fu San Soo
    Brazilian Ju-jutsu
    Five Animal Forms of Kenpo
    Shotokan Karate
    Tae Kwon Do
    Aikido
    Pa Qua
    Haak Lung Chuan

What awards have you been given by the president, which president(s) and when?

In what capacity were you involved with homeland security?

What is your involvement with Kidsafe911?

I am going to go take my run now and when I get back I will give him a call and see where we go from there. Anything you think I need to add do so now.

I would begin with this first:
    How long have you trained in, what rank do you hold and who awarded you that rank in;
    Tang Soo Do
    Hwa Rang Do
    Northern Shaolin Kung Fu
    Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu
    Kung Fu San Soo
    Brazilian Ju-jutsu
    Five Animal Forms of Kenpo
    Shotokan Karate
    Tae Kwon Do
    Aikido
    Pa Qua
    Haak Lung Chuan
also inquire about Federations which may have granted or awarded rank and ask if any of them are honorary ranks.

Some of these may have been cross-ranks which may or may not be "soke circlejerks".

Next, I would move to this:

    At a college Level
What training have you provided for Campus security at UCI, FSU and Colorado School of Mines? When did you provide this training?
Someone who works as Campus Security and choose to take a class isn't the same as "providing training for Campus Security".
See if you are able to gain University contacts for verification.

    Next:

In what capacity were you involved with homeland security?
    -and-
What type of training have you provided to Federal law enforcement agencies? What agencies have you worked with and when?
Are these seminars in which he is participating and inquire about who contracted him.
Training one special agent with the FBI, during that agent's off-duty time isn't the same as "being employed by the FBI" or "contracted by the FBI to provide agent training"
Ask if he is able or willing to provide contacts.

    This will naturally move into:

    At a Military Level
What type of training have you provided to American military personnel? Where did you provide it and when?
This will be a bit more dicey and you will likely need the assistance of any Military Bullies to assist you with context, verbiage and the like.

    From Military to the CIC:
What awards have you been given by the president, which president(s) and when?
    Finally:
What was or is your involvement with the Association for Battered Women?
What was or is your involvement with the Big Brothers program?
What was or is your involvement with Children of the Court?
What was or is your involvement with the National Association for Missing Children?

What is your involvement with Kidsafe911?
This part reminds me of the Master Jules thread.
Perhaps you may wish to read the sections in reference to his being an "ASPCA Cop", his "bodyguarding" of foreign diplomats and his rescuing of a girl so you can see the tenuous nature of information.
Where what is inferred and what is discovered are vastly different.
