Was the fight in progress at 11:00 or were they between fights? If they were between fights, and if this is common knowledge in the industry, it's pretty poor management to give people the chance to switch.

It seems a bit less likely that lots of people switched in the middle of a fight to watch the news, whether they like Shields or not.
