Dies Irae (Day of Wrath) from Verdi's Requiem

This is not classical, nor is it particularly sophisticated music. This is an old form of folk music called Sacred Harp singing, or Shaped Note singing. Songs typically have a number and a single-word title, this is 300 Calvary.
Adding in case a song about death would be helpful in striking fear in to an opponent ;)

Go, search the world beneath
Where Nature all in ruin lies
And owns, Her sovereign -- Death!! -

I like the whole thing, because I can hear the dialogue in my head, but it starts to get manly at around 1:30, and kicks your ass at 3:30.

YouTube- The MAGIC Of Bulgarian Voices & Music Trio Bulgarka - " Strati na Angelaki doumasche " A cappella
I love the Bulgarian Women's Choir, not really classical but just awesome a cappella gorgeousness. Possibly too meditative although the laments of women in wartime (what many of the songs sound like to me but hey I don't speak Bulgarian) have a certain tragic feel that seems right as an accompaniment before battle.
If you like it just search for Les Mystere Des Voix Bulgares and you'll find more music.
