The death was a false alarm, so was the heart attack. According to JC, he just had some mild chest pain, went to a doctor and it was fine.

This is going to be sweet. Props to JCVD.

Publicity stunt or not, Seagal would never step up and do something like this.

I'm looking forward to this. As a fan I hope it silences the critics who always claimed he couldnt really fight and was just a 'dancer'.

And after this it would be awesome if he fights the green ranger :)

    This.

    Or Chuck Norris.

A Gracie would be awesome too. Considering that no-one ever invited the family to the Kumite.

Another interview about the fight (it's going to be Muay Thai) and JCVD's desire to fight in Moscow at some point.

YouTube - Jean-Claude Van Damme talks about his Muay Thai Fight (April 2011)

Makes sense. Read somewhere that Van Damme is still considered a huge star in Eastern Europe. His straight-to-video movies actually play in the cinemas there...

I will eagerly await the fight. I honestly had given up hope at this point.

Hey Vadim, is that you? What are you doing there, Vadim? Shouldn't you be setting up a fight for Fedor, Vadim? Shouldn't you be dismantling the corporate UFC, Vadim? Dang Vadim.

As much as I respect the social stigma attached to the practice of necromancy, I definitely wasn't going to make a new thread on this topic. I am curious, however, if anyone knows anything about this. The last post here said that it was happening in April '11, and here we are. I've also heard (from Wikipedia, surely a flawless resource) that it was happening in November '11 some place in Thailand.

I don't have T.V. and my Google-fu is pretty weak, so I defer to my betters in the quest for answers.
