I heard Lua, the Hawaiian Martial Art, is a dead one, even though I would love to learn it.

They've got this great new thing on the internet called Google. You should check it out. :)
and a place to train:
You'll have to move to Hawaii to learn it.
Look out world! Lua will be the new T3H D34DLY.

Lua concentrates on joint and bone breaking as far as I know. There are several Lua schools - some of them are also tied in with Kajukenbo, another Hawaiian style. It is interesting to me (at least) that some of the Lua guys have studied Henry Okazaki's ju jitsu and taken out the techniques that he would have learned from the three styles of jj and the judo that he had learned to try and find what techniques he learned 90 years ago in Hilo, Hawaii, by a process of elimination. Okazaki, like almost all great teachers, cross trained with anyone who was good. He was lucky enough to learn Lua in an area of Hawaii that, back at that time, was 'more Hawaiian,' and still had vestiges of the ancient culture.

No bones to break anymore... law suits permeate our time.
Lua still taught but I wonder how effective it remains.
Now or never.

Kajukenbo was created by Hawaiians yes, but it is an amalgamation of Karate, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Kenpo, and Chinese Boxing, and as you can tell, the name is a play on words.

LLL, don't be an ass. This is supposed to be a friendly atmosphere.

That was polite for LLL. Well done LLL, that therapy works. Do they still wrap you in the blanket and beat you with kali sticks.
