Man this thread reminds me of this movie I rented from Blockbuster because it was about a female muaythai fighter. Well it turned out to be this very compelling story of a strange karate instructor who trains one of his female students to fight as a professional muaythai fighter. After winning her 4th fight she decides to take on the men's heavyweight world champion (who was her karate instructor's old rival). They have an epic and very brutal back and forth battle where she ends up pummeling the champ so mercilessly that she kills him. She then goes punch drunk CRAZY and goes on a rampage. Her karate instructor tries to subdue her but her mad crazy rage is too much for him and she kills him too. The end!
I wish I could remember the name of the movie, it was a real gem.Ranked #9 internationally at 118lbs by WIKBA http://www.womenkickboxing.com/wikba...rch%202009.htm -

Going completely off topic for random trivia,
Are you implying the Karate in Street Fighter is Shotokan?
Just to let you know, its not. That entire idea came from -one- poor translation for the SNES version of the game, which has stuck in the US for quite some time. It was later "corrected" to Ansatsuken, which is also wrong. Ryu's karate is loosely based off Kyokushin mythology(infamous Kyokushin vs Muay Thai thing) and Karate stereotypes (Karate Kid).
The correct Martial Art by Ken/Ryu/Gouken in the Street Fighter series is best described asSpoiler:
The only shotokan fighter in the entire series is Mokoto. -
