The most damaging thing to an art? In my eyes, it's inferior teachers, of their respective art. What the students learn through them, is what they learn to apply. And what they learn to apply, determines whether they successfully do what they set out to, or learn what they to hard and fast.

    What am I?:

I am ignorant, thieving, lying, hypocrital, violent and thoroughly self obssessed. I steal from others to make myself look better, only to make the item or information worse.

I go on and on and ON about how brave and strong and brilliant and wealthy I am, but in the end I'm all mouth and no trousers.

That's right children, I'm your average AMERICUNT! and I exemplify AMERICA!:911flag:

Yes, through persistent lack of work and the cultivation of ignorance, he is a true American.

believing your trophies mean you can fight outside the dojo. thats another illusion. sure, good at same style, but the invincibility ends there... but I guess only WTF people havent figured that out yet.

I think the single thing that stands in the way of most martial arts is a fundamental misunderstanding of how the body responds to strikes/techniques/pain/etc by its instructors and students. Largely a 'TMA with no sparring' issue, many people (previously myself included) just don't know how little a punch or kick can do.

If more people just took a little time to think about how hard they'll have to hit someone, and also how hard they can be hit...I think all training would take a big step forward.

I talked to two kids who were training under him last year, and they started preaching the same thing about this misterious punch that could kill without even hitting your opponent.

    I laughed my ass off...

They said that they secretly train it at home

I was crying by this point and walked away...

How retarded would one have to be to believe that!?!?!?!

I think this is called a gun, you don't actually have to make contact as a projectile is hurled through the air toward the target.

Youtube and the number of parodies of MA there are on that site.

The fact that there's so much crap MA means if the poster does not explicitly state he's mocking a particular MA we could be excused for thinking that they're actually serious (-ly crap).
