Look what I made!
No more anything for me for a while. :(
Shin checking is gonna suck in the future. :(
Compound fracture? Staph? Story plz.
Foot slipped on a precision leap when I landed. Shin straight into concrete block. Walked about 50ish feet before realizing I had a 2" gash in my leg.
It was kind of funny though, since I did it on campus, I was polite enough to wait 20 minutes for the campus police (real PD, not security) to come and take an incident report. It was a neighbor from down the street and he wrote me up really quick and then I went to get it sutured.
12 stitches, I believe.
No fractures that I know about, just a laceration.
Are you going to end up in one of those parkour fail youtube videos I love watching?
lame; hope it heals quickly for ya.
It wasn't a fail so much as an accident. I made many successful precision jumps and some were harder (further, much smaller landing spot, etc.) than this one. I was just tired and didn't fully commit to the leap. It was about 7' from point A to point B. When I landed, my right foot slipped and I shin checked the concrete. I dropped down and walked over to a bench to check it out to make sure it was ok.

Thanks. Stitches will be off within the week. I'm getting muscle spasms here and there in my shin from not moving my foot very much, but it should be alright.

Well that sucks. But hey! At least it's not staph.
Thank god. **** Staph.
