    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Odd image request (MT gloves)

Does anyone have an image that shows a side-by-side comparison of MT glove sizes? I can't seem to find any, I just need to see 8oz-12oz gloves. I mean an actual photo, not a chart. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I am referring to Twins gloves, but I assume they are all similar so any brand will do... thanks to anyone who helps

Bombman, the technique fora exists so members can ask questions about martial technique. There is no room for off-topic or even basic level questions in the two advanced technique fora, Advanced Striking and Advanced Grappling.

So I'm sure you can understand how a thread that requests pictures of gloves does not belong in one of the advanced technique fora. YMAS is also the general arts forum. I put your thread there.

The only reason I didn't give you an infraction is because you're new.

Why do you ask? those sizes are **** for anything other than fighting. and you can't generally fight with 8ozers unless you're really small

Wait -- what? Thai rules call for 8oz gloves for most weight classes. And most Thai fighters fight in those weight classes.

How many Thai's do you think post on this forum?

I... have no idea. But the idea that you "can't fight" with 8 ounce gloves doesn't make any sense. I'm not sure if I need any Thai Bullshido members to back me up here.

Reading comprehension, you fail at it.

I'm one of the lightest fighters on this board at 150 pounds and i have to use 10 ounce gloves in fights. It doesn't matter what the 100 pound Thais in Thailand do wear because they're not here to post up pictures of their gloves.

Check out the IKF glove size chart. No amateur fights in 8 oz gloves.

I'm pretty sure Sirc is like 95 lbs, but he didn't show much Muay Thai against DTT.
