You seem rather infatuated with hair styles lately...

Are you secretly enrolled in cosmetology school?

As you can see in the beginning of the video, it only works with Asian magazines.

The Japanese version of Cosmo is the best. Asian chicks in their underwear ( you weren't going to read the articles anyway ) and it's like 5 inches thick.

BJJ might make you a better ground fighter, but Judo will make you a better dancer.

I walked out on a "demonstration of martial arts", which was meant to be a Thai celebration but they were not Thai in the slightest, but not early enough to avoid the stupid. I think I even wrote an article in YMAS a while back about it because it was so phenomenally bad.

One of the demonstrations was the fat sifu (known as FS from now on) sitting on a crate reading a magazine. A guy comes up behind him and the FS "stops" his knife attack by holding the rolled up magazine above his head, which the guy stabbing had to redirect his knife for it to hit the magazine. The FS stood up and did a series of the most uneconomical movements with his other hand behind his back. It was supposed to appear flashy, but it came across as more sloppy than a six year old's personally choreographed dance routine.

Anyway, this is what I am reminded of from the video above. Carry on, nothing to see here but the ramblings of a bored man at work reminiscing about when he was relevant.

OP. You were right. That was a full menu of sheer AWESOME.

From the cool ninja toys on the paneled walls, to the epaulettes on the instructors cool-guy black safari shirt, to the swank Elvis-karate hand movements he uses to demonstrate the magazine, to the cheap-ass chair he's willing to risk his life and limb for, to the attacker's chanbara samurai haircut, to the bit of slapstick at the end.

    Yep. Pure, unadultered awesome.

Yup. Methinks Soke Duncan's credibility just took another hit here, and I'm not sure he had enough to spare.
