Hugo I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I know Jason personally, I worked with him at a restaurant on Mt. Hood for two years. He was a cook, I was a front of house guy, we actually got along quite well, however, I wasn't nearly as aware of his bullshit back then.
Jason is harmless. He sits in his dojo apartment, he invites his friends over to "train" with him, he's not charging people for lesson or telling people he's a BB in BJJ or some ****. He's a nerd, all he ever thinks about is snowboarding, ninjutsu, and really dirty pornography. I think that most people that go "train" with him do so mainly to humor him, because he tends to talk about martial arts ALL THE GODDAMN TIME to everybody he meets.
His opinion on MA is that Ninjutsu and jujutsu are the uber deadly samurai warrior arts, and that muay thai, BJJ and MMA are just sport fighting and have no real martial value. This opinion is like his religion, and he's not gonna convert, but at the same time he's willing to put gloves and hit some focus mitts, so maybe there's still hope.
Next time I go down to Mt. Hood for a vacation I plan on bringing my thai pads and teaching him how to not kick like a bitch.

I'm not looking to knock his personality, I don't know the guy. The only impression I have of him is from the "persona" he gives off through his internet footprint.

What I'm interested in is what he's doing in terms of his martial arts - remembering that it doesn't appear as if he's actually - legitimately - earned the Yudansha grade(s) he has.

Now, that isn't a problem at the moment, like you and others, I'm not seeing Stork making grandiose claims .. YET ..

IMHO - Stork is a contender for future MA Bullshit of one sort or another and this thread is just the potential for bigger things.

So, just out of curiosity, is the goal here to expose what he may or may not do in the future? That hardly seems fair. I don't think he's doing anything wrong. Regardless of whether you agree with Ralph Severe's training and ranking methodology, it is what it is. Severe has seen fit to award Stork with rank under him. If this site decides that rank doesn't mean anything, or isn't legitimate, it's not going to affect how he sees it. I guess I don't really understand what we're trying to do here. Is this about what he's doing? I don't see how he's doing anything wrong. If this is about what he MIGHT do, then that's purely speculation, and hardly the basis of any kind of investigation. If you have questions for Stork regarding Severe, then why make him his own thread, why not instead invite him to the Severe thread (though he will no doubt refuse to participate, which is his right).

I was unable to find anything regarding thread "necro-ing", so hopefully I'm not rocking the rule boat, as I am new here if I have, I humbly apologize. However I felt it was due diligence to post my findings to try and clear up some of the uncertainties here when I came across this thread while trying to validate the credentials Mr. Stork claimed to have during a disagreement I had with him yesterday on one of my own videos, which to be honest was me and a friend goofing off after practice one day (also as a matter of full disclosure I have nor claim to have any official ranking), the comment is as follows.

"ok now this is some funny ****. pretend fighting. no bujinkan background. just two kids role playing. did you just get back from comicon. funny you laugh at my vids. i get paid. got 2.6 million views. get tons of. free weapons and hakama and gear. free ninja books from many authors i do reviews for. 6 years in the bujiinkan. i hold rank in japan. i am in real samurai yoroi. but you came to smart mouth on my vids when you got this here with no views and it blows. to funny"

After digging through his videos I stumbled across this little nugget of info. To address NoTeefa's post from 3/30/2010 (#22) stating "he's not charging people for lesson", here in this video for a possible "Gasshuku" event he was planning to host, where Ralph Severe was supposedly going to show up and help "teach" at as well. It was also probably going to cost between 50-100 dollars for this two or three day "seminar", so there is tentative evidence of him charging people for training. It didn't happen in 2010, but he states in his comments he would try again in following years. He also states in the vids description of holding rank, "I HAVE A 4TH KYU IN THE BUJINKAN. I ALSO HAVE A SHODAN FROM KAMIYAMA BUGEI DOJO". While not exactly BB, it is alarming that I couldn't turn up any documentation in the search results that wasn't from his youtube, and if one holds "Rank in Japan" you'd think it'd be easier to find something from a source that isn't the horses own mouth.

*Ok, apparently I need 5 or more posts to post the Youtube link to this "Training Seminar" vid. That kindda caught me by surprise. But, I will be more then happy to pm/email anyone who can post it, so it can be on here for the public record, or you can search 142-WOULD YOU LIKE TO ATTEND A MARTIAL ARTS SEMINAR WITH ME AND RALPH SEVERE ON MT HOOD? The part where it mentioned the possible cost is about 4 minutes in*

Yeah, I have come to realize all these points quite quickly, actually. Despite the fact of only having had an encounter with him recently, I'm now aware of how old hat discussions on him are thanks to the thread link Senior Murray posted. Sorry for rehashing, now obviously, old points.
