Nabard The Persian art of combat

I was asked by a friend to look into schools in his area as he wants to start his kid in martial arts. When looking for schools I came across This Master Safakhoo and the Persian art of combat called Nabard. I tried doing more searches on it in Bullshido but found nothing. Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this? If there is a thread can you please point me in the right direction thanks.

Thats quite obviously bad kung-fu rebranded as "ancient persian". A relatively stupid move, considering how many persians live in diaspora, and how hard they cling to their traditions. Any persian will almost instantly call bullshit on this one.

Persian martial arts are heavily influenced by India. So much they even resemble each other in the names.

The traditional system, often called Varzesh-e Pahlavani, which is supposed to translate to "Sport of the Heroes" is a mixture of strongmen exercises and "Koshti" wrestling. Persians totally dig wrestling anyhow.
