So.. what would people actually want to do? Submission wrestling? Stand up striking? Form work? Flower arranging? All of the above?

PS.... daffodils are banned from any stand up work as they're too dangerous.

Hey you Brits:

I'm a yank, but I have some real good friends in the UK, and they are hosting a grappling tournament in June. In Fenton, June 5 and 6.

They are The Bushi Karate Jutsu association. They are in Stoke-on-Trent, and we have members ranging from Traditional Hombu Aikido, Ju Jutsu , Kempo Ju Jutsu, Katart do, Karate Jutsu, all the way to a Professional Wrestler!!!

I will be there this year with a team of kids who are gonna grapple. I'd like to meet you guys.

I can't do most of easter - I'm in Brazil between March 25th and April 19th.

Can only do weekends do - I work full time in London.

Assuming I can go, I'd be up for whatever. Let's roll a bit, strike a bit, discuss techniques and then go for a drink?

Mutt - Stoke is reasonably close to me, so more details would be good.
We'll have to find a mutually agreeable date after easter for everyone else.

I'm also with drunken in that I don't drive. :( But as long as we can do a weekend when I'm in the country, I'll show up.

i'm in my final year of university up north (St.A), so it all depends on how well my dissertation is going at that particular point in time. I wouldn't want to commit 100% to anything now and then have to back out at the last minute.

I think we should do **real** vale tudo - absoloutely anything goes, and it should take place out on the street with the glass and lava and everything.
Wouldn't the lava actually melt the glass? This surely takes the danger of the glass out of the equation.
We should all have weapons too.

So do we have any proper proposed dates? I can't do 25th March to 19th April, but am free on a weekend after that. Just to get the ball rolling - how's 15th May?

Incidentally, am happy to look into getting some space down here in London for a part 2 later.
