Mine was 65 bpm, but I just ran downstairs to do some laundry. So I suspect that it would be a touch lower.

...When I competitively swam the nurses who take your bp and hr at physicals always borderline freaking out. My heart rate would be around 50to55 and my lowest bp was around 80-90 over 50-60.

Nowdays the stress and bp are higher but the hr is still good.

A heart rate around 50 implies that you are one very healthy dude, probably destined to live well into your 90's, if you are careful with other aspects of your life.

Assuming, of course, that living to your 90's or 100's is a good thing :)

    Me too :)
Swimming kicks ass. Nurses would always freak about my blood pressure. Some of them couldn't even find my pulse.

I have a high pulse range. My high-pressure is pretty high, but my low is real low.

    Is that a bad thing?
